Our History

EACH Counselling and Support (EACH) has been helping people affected by drugs and alcohol, mental health issues and violence and abuse sustain positive change, remain safe and lead meaningful lives since 1991.

Timeline

2018Today EACH are providing support for people with drug and alcohol misuse, mental health and sexual and domestic violence and abuse issues in 12 London boroughs
2012EACH joined the London VAWG Consortium, delivering frontline services across London to women affected by Domestic Violence and Abuse, through the Ascent Project
2011We officially changed our name to EACH Counselling and Support
2010Mental Health project for Tamil and Asian women started in Hounslow, Ealing and Brent funded by Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC)
2008A new EACH centre opened in Hanwell, Ealing providing abstinence-based day programmes and counselling support
2003Pukaar launched in Hillingdon – a specialist service for Asian women affected by sexual and domestic violence and abuse
2002A pilot project launched in Hounslow providing tenancy support to people with substance misuse issues and the Asian Men’s support group began
1997Abstinence-based day programme started in Hounslow and the National Lottery funded a Skills project to support service users
1993EACH received a ‘Certificate of Good Practice’ from Alcohol Concern in recogniton of our specialist service
1991EACH Alcohol Counselling in Hounslow (EACH) was launched in May

EACH is a company limited by guarantee (registration no: 02818814) and a Registered Charity (charity number: 1025967).

We are a medium sized charity led by a Board of Trustees who provide their skills and expertise in a voluntary capacity. Volunteers play an important role in our organisation contributing their time and skills in a range of activities.

EACH is funded from a number of sources: Primary Care Trusts, Local Authorities, Social Services, Supporting People, London Probation, Youth Offending Service, Equality and Human Rights Commission and London Councils.

We are accredited by Investors in People for our work and investment in staff’s continuous learning and development which enables the delivery of quality services.
